Manufacturability must be considered from day one for every new design. The larger the volume, the more critical is the manufacturability of your product.

• Design to the capabilities of your manufacturer and you will minimise reworks and manufacturing costs.
• Do you have complex assembly requirements or have you reduced them to the simplest possible processes?
• Are you using exotic technologies which will introduce a learning phase for the manufacturer? Is it necessary?
• Can the assembly of your product be automated using standard assembly equipment?
